I also figured that I could take a minute to show some of the things that I have done since I started this blog but haven't taken the time to do so. For starts I built us (me) a new computer.
As you can see I was neat freak and covered all of the cables is wire wrap to keep it clean. The fans is the case have blue lights (not really by a choice of mine, I'm not really into that, but it was standard, but now it is growing on me).

The system is complete. The cost of parts was a little over $1000 but it was fun and well worth it. In basic it has :

  • EVGA motherboard and video card.
  • Intel Quad Core Processor.
  • 4Gb OCZ Ram.
  • 500GB Seagate Hard drive.
  • LG DVD burner
  • A built in card reader for camera memory cards

I love that case, it is well ventilated, the front is nothing but a screen so I have no heat issues at all. I also added a 200GB Seagate drive as a storage drive for my crap (as Liz calls it). I just think it look slick :)

Blog Changes

I guess I should take some time to post, since I have not done so since I created this Blog. Though I don't think that I will be changing the format too much I added a weekly quote section that I am hoping to change out every week. I have quite a few quotes and thoughts in several note books that I have collected over the years. I hope to share them with anyone who wants to take the time to read them. Some of them are pretty popular, some less known, and some I have no idea where they came from. But this is the hope.

Movies

So in case you can't tell, I like movies! I like them so much that I created my own theatre in the backyard, ok its my parents backyard, since I don't have one (maybe someday). This picture isn't the best, but you can get the idea. It consists of 12ft inflatable screen (starter purchased from Wal-Mart Online). I had to build some stands with my Dad's help to raise it up off the ground for better viewing. It is easily illuminated with a Toshiba DLP projector. Now my favorite part would be the sound system. Mind you its not surround sound, but good solid stereo sound. Its a 700 watt (2 x 150 watt satellite and a 400 watt sub). It's a B-52 Matrix 1000 V2, look it up some time- very nice. Got a great deal on it to, thanks to Guitar Canter :) (look, free advertising!) It packs down into a few cases for transportation and storage, its really cool, at least I think so :) On top of that Liz and I chill through the movie in our Love Sac (nothing better, she can sleep and I have fun). I hope to improve upon it in the future with a larger and solid frame screen, a better mixing board, and maybe some more Love Sacs!! I would also like to work on a slamin surround sound setup, but probably more of a cool idea then plausible, at least how I would do it :)
Here is the next thing that I hope to add, though Liz probably won't let me...... B-52 Prodigy FX
Another very cool site....... Backyard Theater
