So I had this picture of Morgan that I liked and was going to post it with the pictures from our Utah trip. But when I looked at the picture again, i decided it had potential! So 3 hours or so later in Photoshop (I'm not highly skilled in Photshop) and this is what I ended up with. She is just too cute!!!! :)Monday, August 24, 2009

Fun in Utah
One event that was planned for this annual summer trip to Utah to see the Family was the Sealing of Brad and Dana (Brad is Liz's brother). It was mid morning at the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. I have to say that it is a beatiful temple and with sun shinning through the windows, it was even better. One of the coolest things, though, was that I got to be one of the witnesses. I felt very honored (though I don't know if they had any special reason, but I'll take it anyways!)
As always I like to have my camera out and screw around. I captured several nice pictures, but this series is my favorite and you will see why. This is my nephew Eddie and he is 2. He always has this blank/curious look, so I started to take pictures . . . . . .
I guess he thought that I needed a better picture and decided to "scratch his brain" . . .
Once he obtained a treasure you can see he heavily contemplated what to do with it . . . .
And you guessed it! "Hmm. . . It's a little salty." :)Good ol' Eddie

Morgan VS The Pig
So every night I get the job of playing with Morgan and getting her ready for bed. Typically that consists of holding her and making faces and then changing her diaper and dressing her in her PJs so she can eat and go to bed. Well she has become more active and energetic so it takes more to make her "tired." So this is the result of one night with her pig (a gift from her Daddy) but it was too cute, so check it out :)
To see her Jumping Check out Liz's Blog.

Photos
This picture I was playing around with depth of field at my parents while my dad was irrigating. At first I thought it was odd, but it gave the effect I was after. Then after I looked at with Liz and my sister Stephi I realized I actually liked it. I even water marked it :)
This Picture is from a Saturday trip on the light rail into downtown Phoenix. This is the water fountains at the Arizona Center (which is really cool, its like a small garden/park in the middle of several buildings). I actually had to use Photoshop to take out a leg of one of her brothers, can you tell?
Now this one I did not take (thus I did not watermark it) but we do own the copyright to it with our photographer Mark Loper who I met years before we got married when he did pictures for our family. He is awesome and a really great guy. He was a lot of help with our wedding because that is what he specializes in. Anyway he took the photo. I just pulled it into Photoshop and played with the colors and Liz wanted me to post it (I think she like to remember the day that the world revolved around her, which of course everyday since has:) she is so beautiful!)Music

As you can see I was neat freak and covered all of the cables is wire wrap to keep it clean. The fans is the case have blue lights (not really by a choice of mine, I'm not really into that, but it was standard, but now it is growing on me).
The system is complete. The cost of parts was a little over $1000 but it was fun and well worth it. In basic it has :
- EVGA motherboard and video card.
- Intel Quad Core Processor.
- 4Gb OCZ Ram.
- 500GB Seagate Hard drive.
- LG DVD burner
- A built in card reader for camera memory cards
I love that case, it is well ventilated, the front is nothing but a screen so I have no heat issues at all. I also added a 200GB Seagate drive as a storage drive for my crap (as Liz calls it). I just think it look slick :)
